GLOBAL MEDIA VILLAGE
Global Media Village (GMV) has assembled a team of highly trained and experienced entertainment and media executives whose goal is to widen the sphere of exposure for the vast, rich diversity of cultural and ethnic voices in television, film, and related media.  The GMV venture with affilliates presents a vertically integrated offering that includes film development, production, foreign and domestic theatrical distribution. The joint venture is supplemented with Malaysian financing  for films selected to receive North American theatrical release.

Raymond C.  Reed, President and Chief Executive of Global Media Village, served as president of Akasua Holdings, Ltd. when it acquired Harvey Comics Entertainment in 1989. While at the helm of Akausa, he presided over the Harvey acquisition, the subsequent sale of a minority interest in Harvey to MCA [Universal]; and the formation of film production and distribution agreements with MCA [Universal] and Amblin Entertainment for Universal's feature film "Casper" as well as with Warner Borthers for its feature film "Richie Rich." He remained with Akausa through the initial public offering of Harvey Entertainment on NASDAQ in 1993.

Mr. Reed was founding principal of Raymond C. Reed & Associates, and provided private business and legal counsel for international entertainment and media companies. A Columbia University and Whittier Law School graduate with a UCLA M.B.A., he expanded the scope of his firm's work from targeting entertainment companies for acquisition and executive management, to television, film and media production and international distribution. He was Co-Producer of Disney's "Max Keeble's Big Move", from inception through its release in 2001; Producer of the yet to be released comedy "Cuttin Da Mustard" with Brandon Jackson ["Tropic Thunder"], Lil Zane and Sinbad; and Executive Producer on the post college "dramedy" "Truth Hall" which premiered on BET in 2010.

Internationally, he served as advisor to the principals of Orbit Satellite TV Network from inception through formation--long prior to its merger with Showtime [Orbit-Showtime]--and its related production and broadcast facilities in Northern Africa, Southern Europe and the Middle East; as well as for Silverbird Cinemas in West Africa; STV Networks India, US and UK; and with Barking Cow Distribution/SONY Home Entertainment on the North American release of Jackie Chan's "The Myth" in 2008; and the 2010 theatrical release of Jackie Chan's "Shinjuku Incident" as well as the BCMG March 7, 2014 theatrical release of the 3D animation film "War of the Worlds--Goliath".
