Global Media Village has developed direct access to international markets through its association with Jacob R Miles, co-founder of FilmCloud Distribution, LLC.  Jacob has been featured in the Wall St Journal, USA TODAY, Black Enterprise on PBS, BET, NBC as well as many other magazines, books, television and radio outlets.

Film Cloud Distribution is a global network of film and digital media distribution platforms developed with local language and cultural interfaces in each of its discrete strategically positioned platforms around the world.  Jacob is a specialist and social media integrator of New Media, Intellectual Properties and Products/Events designed to achieve sustainable revenue growth. 

Jacob is an Award Winning Media & Entertainment entrepreneur, and has been chief executive officer of private and public companies in the entertainment industry.  He is a multi-cultural markets new media specialist, and founder of Social Media Analysts(TM), GrapevineStar(TM) Media, and strategic partner for entertainment and media at the Amusement Park, Creative Agency and now Representative for FilmCloud Distribution LLC, who knows how distribute and market African-American and Multi-Cultural films in international markets.

Global Media Village has also teamed with Barking Cow Media Group (BCMG), headed by Sridhar Sreekakula, to provide a fully integrated production and distribution capability.   The company is a portfolio company of MAVCAP, the Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (www.mavcap.com) which is the venture capital investment arm of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance.  It provides a one-stop monetization solution for producers to directly release films to as many as 5,000 North American theatrical screens; and brings a globalization platform to filmmakers around the world. 

Historically, the company operated in various distribution niches in a variety of genres with many studio partners. The formation of its internal prints and advertising [P&A] fund and expanded financing opportunities in Pan Asia cultivated by the group, have resulted in a vertically integrated, development, production, and global distribution capability.

Global Media Village is developing entertainment and multi-media projects with David L. Watts, who is  the CEO of FuTurXTV and The FuTurX, LLC, which specializes in multicultural film, TV and gaming/digital media development, production, distribution, marketing and social media engagement. Watts is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) School of Cinema-Television and has over twenty five years of experience in film and television.

FuTurXTV produced the "Hip-Hop Life" DVD, featuring Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and the top MC Battle rap stars in Detroit and Houston. The "Hip-Hop Life" DVD was shot in HD and is on Netflix. It was sold by Screen Media in all major U.S. stores, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc., and was distributed nationwide on pay-per-view and VOD cable channels by Universal Studios. FuTurXTV is also affiliated with Funk Gumbo Radio, a unique Black rock/alternative/funk Internet radio station that can be heard in the U.S. and over 95 countries.

Watts is a tech/gamer/entertainment journalist and is an accomplished writer/producer in his own right (Disney's "Max Keeble's Big Move", "Soul On Ice"  and "The Good, The Bad & The Bling"), who has earned the moniker "Money Train" in the Hip-Hop, Digital and Hollywood communities.
